What is the Europe Trail Cup?

Europe Trail Cup is a cooperation of dynamically developing running events from Italy, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. All events share common values such as: close contact with nature, being part of and supporting local communities, contributing to a better world, and being free and authentic. All this with high organisational standards, exceptional landscapes and positive energy.

The forerunner of the Europe Trail Cup was the Alpe Adria Trail Cup Association, founded in 2020 by 3 running events from the Alpe Adria region. By 2024, the organisation already included 17 races from 9 different countries and its name was changed to Europe Trail Cup. What will not change is that only races certified by ITRA (International Trail Running Association) can be associated with the organisation. The Europe Trail Cup competition is divided into two categories: “Trail” and “Ultra”. The winners will receive cash prizes, divided equally between the men’s and women’s categories (first three places).
