The race begins at the base of the Sorica ski slope in Azuga, setting the stage for an exciting start. The first 2km of the course is a flat section, allowing runners to warm up, before a steep 3km climb of 600 metres to the summit of Clabucetul Azuga. This highlight of the race offers sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, making the climb well worth the effort. From here, the course descends to Stan, where competitors will find the first refreshment station, strategically located 6km from the start. The route then takes runners through a tranquil forest, following a wide path once used by local shepherds. At the 10km mark, runners reach the Susai Hut, where there is a refreshment point and checkpoint. The trail continues through the Cabana Susai area, winds towards Cabana Garbova and climbs to Clabucetul Taurului, before returning to Azuga, completing the first loop of 20.8km.

For those continuing on the ATR L30 DYNAFIT route, the second loop offers a further 10km of challenging terrain. Starting with a challenging climb up the Sorica slope, this section of the race takes runners to Vârful Urechea, another high point with spectacular views. From there, competitors will enjoy a long, scenic descent through an alpine landscape, eventually entering a wooded area that will provide a final stretch of natural beauty. The combination of steep climbs, technical descents and varied terrain makes this second loop a true test of endurance and skill. However, it also rewards runners with some of the most stunning views of the Bucegi Mountains, ensuring that the effort is well worth it.
